THE CHALLENGE ::
Human rights have not kept up with the
rapid evolution of technology.
The acceleration of AI, technology and science has created what The
Future of Life calls a
"concentration of power."
Leaders of some of the
most wealthy and powerful entities in the world have publicly predicted
their technology could harm humans, and likely lead to human extinction.
Many of these companies acknowledge risks to humans, and yet, continue
to accelerate and reject oversight, regulation or accountability to
their customers, neighbors, fellow citizens, and humanity.
Inadequate
research, testing, user education, safety, customer support, regulation,
and alignment with human
values, have made adults, children, and future generations exceptionally
vulnerable to exploitation, manipulation, and potential harm.
EDUCATION and ACTION are urgently needed to enable individuals to make informed decisions and respond to a landscape changing faster than ever.

Ascently Institute does not seek funding from companies or government agencies that conflict with the mission of promoting technology and science that protect rights and sovereignty of body, mind, and soul. Ascently Institute reserves the right to return, refund, or reject any donation and/or application of any individual or organization that may not support or be in alignment with our mission statement, or for any reason whatsoever.
